Company Research

These links can be used to find detailed information about a company. The first step in researching a company is to go to their web site and read about their products, financial status, recent Press Releases and home town. Many of the attached links allow you to enter a company's stock market symbol. For example, enter a company's symbol at CBS Market Watch and note their independent analysis of that company. I would also visit the company's home town newspaper to learn what is being said external to the company. Finally visit several of the major business periodicals, such as Business Week, Fortune, Forbes and The Wall Street Journal. No one of these sources will know everything about a company. A balanced review using these sources will ensure that you will be noticed during a interview.
