Workshop Summary

2009 IEEE Humanitarian Workshop

November 20, 2009
"Understanding humanitarian works through the lens of engineering"

Overview

The GOLD Humanitarian Panel Session will bring together all the 2009 GOLD Humanitarian Fellowship Recipients to present their Humanitarian projects around the world. They will also share their knowledge and experience. Hence, the session will provide individuals and humanitarian organizations to discuss opportunities for humanitarian engineering outreach activities. The goal is to inform attendees about variety of humanitarian engineering opportunities available, and how young professionals and students can serve the humanity. In addition, to enable IEEE to partner with and empower more young leaders, who are delivering significant value to the community through humanitarian projects.

For more details on the fellowships, see last year's workshop website.
