IEEE is also providing a free 802 Standards workshop.  This workshop provides a general introduction to the IEEE-802 LAN/MAN Standards Committee (LMSC), its structure and its position within the IEEE Organization, and a summary of its current & future standards projects in each active Working Group. 

 This free workshop is open to all IEEE-802 attendees and interested observers (no registration is required)  but an RSVP to 802info@ieee.org with "Subject: 802 Workshop" is highly appreciated so that adequate seating and refreshments can be catered for.
