The purpose of this form is for IEEE volunteers to request the password of the irc server irc.ewh.ieee.org . Use of this form presumes that you have the appropriate permission to use the server.
The present authentication mecahnism is quite simple. The system presumes that if you are an active volunteer, you have an IEEE alias. When you supply your alias (without the @ieee.org), the system will send an e-mail containing the server password through that alias.
