Report from Eastern North Carolina Section The Eastern North Carolina Section includes the Greater Raleigh Area east to the coast of North Carolina. Chair -- Mary Ellen Randall V. A comprehensive newsletter was mass mailed (via US Mail) in September to all members detailing news, upcoming events, IEEE benefits, and local contacts. Instead of a separate Awards event, this year we held an Awards Picnic. This permitted the honored engineers to bring their entire family to the event. We received positive feedback on this format.
