Summary of Goals and Activities:
 
The Tallahassee Area Section has been focusing on planning
for the 2004-2005 activities.  Plans are developing through
a series of Excom meetings conducted through the summer. 
Plans adopted or considered include:
 - Senior Member Drive (October)
 - Consider Adding Technical Chapters:
     - Power/Power Electronics
     - Education
     - Energy/Superconductivity
 - Monthly Excom Meetings (open to all members)
 - Support for Student Branches
 - Support for SoutheastCon Hardware Competition Team
 - Technical Meetings for September and November
 - Holiday Social for December
 
Recent Meetings:
 
5/18/2004: Excom Meeting.  Atendance: 4 officers.
 
6/15/2004: Excom Meeting.  Attendance: 3 officers, 2
members (1 student member & a student branch mentor).
 
7/20/2004: Excom Meeting.  Attendance: 3 officers, 2
members and 1 guest.
 
9/23/2004: Joint IEEE/ASME Section Meeting.  Presentation
and tour of the Center for Advanced Power Systems. 
Attendance: 3 officers, 20 IEEE members (incl. students), 4
ASME members.
