Dear IEEE Region 6 Executive Committee (ExCom) Members:

Just a reminder that we will be having an ExCom meeting on Aug 30 in Manhattan Beach CA.  The Draft agenda is below.  It is anticipated that we will be done by 4:30, so please plan travel plans accordingly.  I really need you to be here for the entire meeting, so please try not to leave early.  We have a block of rooms reserved at the Manhattan Beach Marriott Hotel, 1400 Parkview Avenue, Manhattan Beach, California.

The room block is open -  call 800-228-9290 and the block is under the name 'IEEE'.

For those coming in early enough to join us for dinner, please let me know by July 25 so that I can make a reservation at a nearby restaurant.  Plan for 6pm (Friday) meet time at the Marriot lobby.  One night’s lodging is authorized for members, and two nights if justified by non-availability of flights, or a lower airfare. Refer travel policy questions to R6 Treasurer Howard Kohlbacher.

A car rental must be pre-approved. Region 6 Travel Policy is available on the R6 Website
. Refer travel policy questions to Treasurer Howard Kohlbacher.

Attendees are requested to notify Secretary
Scott Tamashiro when room reservations are made. He should also be advised of special food requirements. It is highly desirable to obtain a hotel room in the Marriott Hotel, where the event is conducted as we have a guaranteed block count.
