CCECE 2004 Conference Registration Information

Please read the following information on registration fees before proceeding to register for the conference.

Authors
You must include, a full registration fee of $475 if you are an IEEE members or $600 if you are not an IEEE member (please see below about becoming an IEEE member), with the first paper you submit for this conference. Extra charges, for each additional paper and extra pages on all papers submitted, are listed below.

Authors must also refer to the Author's Guide web page for an explanation of paper length, extra papers, and extra pages.

    NOTE: Friday, March 5, 2004 is the extended deadline for final paper
    and copyright form submission and author registration payment.


Student Attendees
Students who are attending the conference as non-authors, or as co-authors of a paper where another co-author has paid the full registration fee, may pay the low "student" registration fee or the even lower "student member" registration fee if they are IEEE student members at the time of registration.

Otherwise student authors must pay the higher "IEEE members" or "General Public" registration fees, depending on whether they are IEEE members or not. Student authors are not exempt from the extra charges for additional papers and extra pages as listed below.

Some IEEE Student members are also eligible for a subsidy on their registration fees through generous contributions provided by a number of IEEE Canadian Sections. Please refer to the Student Funding web page for additional details.

Meals
Each registration fee, except for Partners, includes the following meals: The welcoming reception, 3 breakfasts, 3 lunches, the banquet and all coffee breaks. Additional tickets for the lunches and the banquet can be ordered either from our registration web site or from the registration desk during the conference.

Any attendee or partner with special dietary restrictions etc. is invited to indicate these needs to the organizing committee - please forward your requirements to this email .

Please refer to the Partners web page for a full explanation of the various partners programs available and how to register for these additional programs. Each Partners registration fee includes the following meals: Welcoming Reception, 3 breakfasts and the Banquet.

Conference attendees are responsible for making their own Hotel Reservarions and air and ground transportation arrangements. These links are provided to help you make those arrangements.

All attendees must register for this conference using the on-line service provided by the Conference Registration Company (Microspec) using their secure registration web site. You will need to provide your name, e-mail address, mailing address, and credit card (Am-Ex, Visa, or MasterCard) number and expiry date.

To qualify for the IEEE member discounts you must provide your IEEE membership number and your name as it appears on your IEEE membership card. Additionally, students must provide their IEEE student branch number.

Join IEEE On-line
If you are not currently an IEEE member, why not join before you register and take advantage of the lower registration rate for IEEE members.

The current cost to join IEEE as a student member is only US $32 until February 29, 2004 and US $16 afterwards (for a half-year membership).

The current cost to join IEEE as a member (not a student member) is only US $136 until February 29, 2004 and US $68 afterwards (for a half-year membership).

You can apply on-line for IEEE membership using their secure web site and a credit card.

Above costs include GST. In provinces where HST applies, the costs are slightly higher.
