Tasreen Karim received the B.A.Sc. (with honors) in Chemical Engineering and M.A.Sc. and Ph.D in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, Waterloo, ON, Canada.

She has worked for Nortel Networks, Ottawa, in Semiconductor Fabrication, Sirific Wireless Corporation, Waterloo, as a Layout Design Engineer, and MBM Law as a Patent Specialist. Her research interests include Power Supply Noise Measurement and Mitigation on CMOS Integrated Circuits.

Dr. Karim is a recipient of the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada Postgraduate Scholarship, the Ontario Graduate Scholarship, the Ontario Graduate Scholarship in Science and Technology, the President’s Graduate Scholarship, the Provost Women's Doctoral Entrance Award, Faculty of Engineering Awards, and three Nortel Networks Recognition Awards.
