The Winnipeg IEEE WIE Affinity Group presents a Student-Industry Networking EventThe evening will include networking, hot appetizers, free access to pool tables, and over $1000 in door prizes!
Bring your friends, IEEE membership is not required!
Event Date: Thursday, December 3, 2009 Time: 7:00PM -10:00PM PM Location: Triple B’s Restaurant Bar & Billiards 121 Scurfield St, Winnipeg, MB. Map Fee: $10 for Students, $20 for Industry and IEEE members; Cash payments accepted at the door.

IEEE GOLD Winnipeg Section Presents: A tour of the NRC Institute for Biodiagnostics facilities
The Institute of Biodiagnostics develops non-invasive medical technologies that quickly and accurately diagnose conditions such as cancer and stroke. Its biomedical technology research complements one of the country's fastest-growing concentrations of medical device and life science industries.
The tour will visit the following departments: - Prototyping - Informatics - Magnetic Resonance Technology * - Spectroscopy
Date: Wednesday, October 28th, 2009 Time: 3:00 pm Tour Duration : 75 minutes Cost: $10 (IEEE member)/ $20 (Non-member). Location: 435 Ellice Ave
Fees are collected by IEEE and are used to support future IEEE GOLD activities.

IEEE GOLD Winnipeg Section Presents: Boeing TourCome and see state of the art design process at Boeing, one of the world leaders in aerospace industry. The tour will include an Overview of Boeing Winnipeg, engineering design and process flow at shop floor. Boeing Winnipeg is the largest aerospace composite manufacturer in Canada. They design, develop and fabricate complex composite structures and sub-assemblies. They are specialized in Wing-to-Body Fairings, Engine Strut Fairings and other complex composites. Date: Wednesday, September 16th, 2009 Time: 3:30pm Tour Duration : One hour Cost: $10 (IEEE Member) / $20 (Non-member) Location: 99 Murray Park Road, Winnipeg. Photo ID required. No cameras allowed during the tour.
