As part of our ongoing endeavor to serve graduates of the last decade and encourage students to become and remain members of the IEEE, we have worked with and/or supported the following organizations in the local community.

Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Group

In 2006, the University of Manitoba's Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Group was awarded first place at the AUVSI Student UAV Competition. In recognition of our support of their project, the group presented IEEE Winnipeg Section's GOLD Chair with a certificate of recognition.
