Abstract:
A limnimetric station allows to measure the level of surface water from rivers and from this estimate their flow; providing useful analysis elements for the draw on and management of the water resources. Telemetered water level gauges were implemented, using a cell phone, allowing data acquisition and handling, which are relayed to a Server application via GSM / GPRS. The application Server redirects warnings notifications of extreme events from the remote system. It has a Management System Database. Finally, a Client application allows to manage the stored information.
