Abstract:
In this paper a new method is shown to determine the pupil within a digital image of it using binarizations, mathematical morphology and method of Kasa. In addition to locating the pupil, it is possible to determinate the coordinates of its center and its radius. The presented method is an alternative to images in which the pupil is not complete by interference with eyelashes, hair, eyelids or Purkinje image. And again the processing time is significantly reduced compared to the model Hough circle detection.
