Abstract:
This manuscript presents the simulation and implementation of a DC/DC Boost converter in interleaved configuration. The work has an explicative aim, regarding the issues related to the laboratory implementation of this kind of circuits. It is shown in a conceptual way, the main features of the interleaved configuration; also the principal aspects regarding the control strategies and programming tasks are depicted. Simulation waveforms show the behavior of the output voltage, with respect to its reference and, on the other hand, the laboratory implementation shows the results for the load voltage and the PWM pulses in the semiconductor device. The obtained results show the suitability of the Boost Interleaved converter for photovoltaic applications.
