Abstract:
The increasing spread of LED bulb lamps in urban areas should also happen in rural areas. In electrified households with solar home systems this type of lighting has many advantages, however, must generate new impacts not yet been analyzed in depth. In this context, this paper shows a study case for discuss important aspects associated with these impacts mainly environment and socio-economic. The methodology used was based on bibliographic search related to this issue and computer simulations to assess the influence of techno-economic impacts in solar home systems. From the performed analysis it is highlighted that there are several aspects of the LED bulb lamps that should be taken into account by competent institutions during the process of defining quality parameters, use and recycling of the same.
