Abstract:
This research paper aims to present the development of an instrumented teaching experimental prototype, for testing impacts by free fall as a teaching strategy in the dynamics undergraduate coursework, for students in mechatronics engineering. The development of a virtual platform with its interface is present, which was achieved through a Labview program. Experimental results were used to determine the coefficient of restitution, the speed and the time for free fall of the projectile, which are compared with the results displayed on the virtual platform. Also this research established a proposal based on the development of prototypes teaching directed to achieve the learning process.
