Abstract:
The auto industry invests increasingly in offering various car models in order to conquer the consumer market. Due to the major portfolio of options on the market and the different consumption profiles existence, identify the motivational factors when we need purchasing a new vehicle is not a simple task. Emotional and rational factors are included in the knowledge and judgment of the people on whom or what features are relevant in decision buying process of an automobile. From this viewpoint, this paper proposes the development of an application that can assist in choosing a new car that meets the user desires. We combine, an expert system with clusters algorithm to develop an intelligent model to help customers in hard decision of choose a car. In terms of results, we can say that the proposed model was able to show excellent options to customers, associating car models with the desired characteristics of each customer.
