Abstract:
This paper presents a stochastic simulation model to evaluate the recharging of electric vehicles in power distribution networks, focusing on the adequacy of the capacity of transformers and their feeder. The model includes the effects of random variables related to distances previously traveled and connection times of electric vehicles to the grid.
