Travel Support - LARC 2008

This year the IEEE Robotic and Automation Society assigns some resources to support the trip of students from abroad to the IEEE Latin-American Robotic Contest. Therefore, we will assign US$500 travel support to the best candidates that intend to participate in the SEK and OPEN categories.

The interested students must send by email the Travel Support Form fulfilled to Prof. Alejandro Aceves-López ( The deadline for travel support applications is September 1 st, 2008. Notification will be sent back the September 8, 2008.

Please, consider that the submission of this form does not ensure the allocation of travel support to the team. The notifications of assignments will be sent back to team leaders who have three days to accept the travel support. If one selected team is not able to come then another team will be selected.

Teams who accept funding are required to participate in the 7 th Latin American Robotic Contest and to attend the LARS 2008 Latin American Robotic Symposium.

The travel support will be given to the team leader the first day of contest and it could used freely for paying flight tickets, hotel, food or local transport. Please, come with the receipts (or invoices) of such spends to justify the travel support use.
