The coursework at IIEE has been designed with a view to keeping the students apprised of all the latest developments in the field of electronics. To this end, it comprises the courses on Microprocessors and Interfacing, Control Engineering as well as Programmable Logic Controllers to give the students a broad perspective on any real-life problem that needs to be solved.

 

In addition, the students are also given a firm grounding in software design techniques using Visual Basic, Assembly, C and C++. To demonstrate their efficiency in all the above fields, the students are required to design, develop and practically verify a monitoring and control system that is demonstrative of the knowledge of industrial electronics.

In the final year of B.E. (Industrial Electronics) Program, it is required to design, develop and present a project of some industrial application. This exercise enables the students to practically apply and test the skills and techniques learned.

The Final Year Project is a core requirement of the Undergraduate degree course offered at IIEE.The Final Year Project serves to be a direct application of the theoretical knowledge the students acquired in the classroom. These projects add to the R&D process going on in the IIEE. Our graduates have been involved in pursuing quite innovative and ingenious projects in the Institute. While giving all the details of each and every project is very difficult, a synopsis of some of the projects is given in the following pages.
