What is Talkathon ?

Well... so what is Talkathon ? Talkathon is an  endeavor  by the IEEE student branch here at SGSITS to provide a platform to students to present their views on the technical topics and topics of interest to engineers. These may include talks on the latest scientific developments , a presentation on an existing technology or simply a talk about any technology under the sun. 

With this, not only do get to hear more on the technological horizon by the very students who would tomorrow shape it ... this event also gives the students an outlet to present their views on the technological world and also helps them improve on softer skills like effective communication and giving presentations.

All lectures under Talkathon will take place on a Saturday subject to availability of a speaker. Being an open event everyone is welcome to attend it. All speakers though must be IEEE members. We at IEEE sincerely hope that the students and members of IEEE in particular, will make full use of this opportunity.
