PLANS Best Paper Awards 

The following PLANS Best Paper Awards are planned and will be presented during the PLANS 2006 Awards Luncheon.

  • Walter R. Fried Memorial Award for Best Paper at PLANS - $750
  • Best Track Paper - $100 (4 awards)
  • Best Student Paper - $400 (Please note: Student conference fee is half price)

Awards will be presented to the lead authors of the best paper. The selection criteria includes: technical content, innovation, importance and timeliness of the subject matter; and conciseness, clarity and completeness of the written material. The papers must be present in the PLANS proceedings to receive the award.
