General Information

The CPMT Society Board of Governors has approved an annual Chapter of The Year Award to recognize outstanding activities of a local CPMT Society Chapter.

The award will initially be awarded at a major conference in 1999.

The winning chapter receives a banner and certificates for its officers.

Objective:

• To encourage local chapters to serve their local members by supporting:
  • Local Chapter activities
  • Chapter Annual Plan
  • Meeting attendance
  • Chapter longevity
  • Membership recruitment
  • Communications with members
  • Elevation of members to Senior member and Fellow
• To establish one mechanism to obtain information on how local chapters are serving members and the CPMT Society.
