1999 Holm Conference Award Ceremonies

1998 IEEE Erle Shobert Prize Paper Award presented to Dr. Mehran Mehregany (middle) and Dr. Daniel Hyman (right) for their paper "Contact Physics of Gold Micro Contacts for MEM Switches". Award presneted by Prize Paper Committee Chairman Dr. John Shea.
The award was established for recognizing the best paper each year for its technical content and quality of presentation.

1999 Armington Recognition Award was presented to Dr. Milenko Braunovic (right) by Dr. John McBride. The award was created to honor persons who have made significant contributions to the field of electrical contacts through long-term leadership and service to the Holm Conference on Electrical Contacts.
