IMPORTANT
NOTICE FOR TRAVEL INTO CANADA
When entering Canada from
the United States, U.S. citizens must show either a U.S. passport or other proof of U.S.
citizenship, such as an original or certified birth certificate together with
photo identification.
Please note that for many airline carriers, a valid passport is the preferred
method of providing proof of identity and citizenship. As such, it is strongly
recommended all attendees of the Holm 2006 conference who hold valid U.S.
passports and are traveling into Canada from the U.S. carry and present that form
of documentation. U.S.
citizens entering Canada
from a third country must have a valid passport.
All visitors to Canada from
countries other than the United
States will be required to have a valid
passport.
UPCOMING CHANGES TO U.S.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTATION REQUIREMENTS
As of December 31, 2006, travelers to the United States by air or sea must
have a passport, or other secure, accepted document to enter the country.
