TRANSPORTATION

Airport - The airport is about 25 minutes North of the Hyatt hotel. You can rent cars there or for an economical alternative you can use the KCI Shuttle (816-243-5000). You don't have to make reservations. Ticket counters are located across the aisle from each baggage claim area in the airport and the buses leave the airport every 15 minutes for the trip to major Kansas City hotels. The cost to the Hyatt is $16 one way and $27 round trip. Kansas City is served by most all major airlines.

Local - Getting around downtown KC is very easy via the MAX (Metro Area Express), a rapid transit bus line connecting the Hyatt north to downtown and south to the Country Club Plaza (The Plaza is a must see for only a $3 round trip on a 10 minute bus ride).

Interstate - Kansas City is at the cross roads of I-29, I-35, I-70, I-435, I-470, US-71, I-670, and I-635. Try a Google/Mapquest search for directions. The Hyatt Regency Crown Center is located at 2345 Mc Gee Street, Kansas City, MO 64108 and can be reached at 816-421-1234.

From the North on I-29, I-35 and Broadway Bridge: Follow I-35 South and exit at 20th Street (exit 1D). Turn east on 20th Street. Turn South on Grand and continue to Crown Center at Pershing Road. Go left on Pershing Road one block, Turn left on McGee and the Hyatt is on the right.

From the South on I-35: Exit at Broadway (exit 2U). Turn south on Broadway. Turn east at Pershing Road and continue to Crown Center. Go one block past Grand Blvd. and turn left on McGee. The Hyatt is on the right.

From the South on US 71 Highway: Exit at 22nd Street and go west to Crown Center and the Hyatt.

From the East on I-70: Take I-70 West to Downtown / 13th St. (exit 2P). Continue on 13th St. to Oak. Turn south on Oak. Turn west on 19th Street. Turn south on Grand Blvd. and continue to Crown Center at Pershing Road. Go left on Pershing Road one block, Turn left on McGee and the Hyatt is on the right.

From the West on I-70: Take I-70 East to I-670. Exit I-670 on to I-35 South. Exit I-35 South at 20th Street (exit 1D). Turn east on 20th Street. Turn south on Grand and continue to Crown Center at Pershing Road. Go left on Pershing Road one block, Turn left on McGee and the Hyatt is on the right.
