The 2000 Award Recipient: The winner for 2000 is a team entry from North Dakota State University. Their Advisor was Dr. Robert Nelson. The students on the team are Bryan Stern and Ben Herberg. A first place cash award of $900 is shared by both. The primary contestant (Bryan) also received an all-expense paid trip to the Symposium in addition to the cash award. Second place was secured by the team from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Shawn Coulter and Charles Landen formed the team with Dr. Marshall Pace as their Advisor. In third place was Ramesh Chokkalingam from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles. His Advisor was Professor John Choma, Jr. |
