Interference (PGRFI)
Third Chairman of the Administrative Committee of the PGRFI
(1960-1961). He also chaired the EMC Transactions Committee
early in the years of the society (1959). A long-time chair
and member of the EMC Society’s Standards Committee;
he has developed many EMC Standards for the IEEE EMC Society.
Professor Emeritus of the University of Pennsylvania. He taught
for many years in the Moore School of Electrical Engineering
at the University of Pennsylvania.
Long-time member of the Advisory Committee on EMC of the International
Electrotechnical Commission. Past chairman of CISPR and active
on the TC77 committee on EMC for many years.
He chaired the ANSI Accredited Standards Committee C63 on
EMC for over thirty-five years retiring from that position
only in 2005 at the age of 87. He helped develop the ANSI C63.4
standard and many other standards on EMI equipment. |
