Book Review Department
Our objective in the Book Review Department is to
provide detailed peer reviews of
recently published books in the area of engineering and technology management related fields. These fields include all aspects of the management as
described in the scope and boundaries
of Transactions on Engineering Management (TEM). We serve people
with wide variety of interests as they represent both practicing managers and academic personnel in
universities and colleges. Books that
may be of interest to our readers will be
reviewed in this department. We are particularly interested in providing critical reviews of important seminal
books on technical management.
The reviews will be reflective and will add
perspectives to the issues raised in the book. We will welcome controversial
topics and reviews to provide an open forum for a scholarly discussion.
Reviews contrasting the views and work of two or more books are welcome. The
rigor, quality, timeliness, and clarity of the book reviews will be similar to the technical paper reviews conducted by TEM.
Authors
are encouraged to forward a review copy of their book to the departmental
editor.
