Information on the latest versions from the FTP site.

SIMPLE and ELECSIM can also be installed from the CD-ROM that accompanies the IEEE Transactions on Education Special Issue by running the setup.exe files in their respective subdirectories in the install subdirectory. The install subdirectory also contains self-expanding archives makedisk1.exe, makedisk2.exe and manual.exe which can be used directly from the CD to make sets of installation floppy disks.

Download the latest version of MAKDISK1.EXE from the FTP site.

Download the latest version of MAKDISK2.EXE from the FTP site.

Download the latest version of MANUAL.EXE from the FTP site.

For a demonstration of how SIMPLE can incorporate WWW pages into an interactive learning environment, use SIMPLE to open the database "www.mdb"on the CD-ROM and access a URL from which you can download the most recent releases of SIMPLE and ELECSIM.

The source code for SIMPLE and ELECSIM is included, as self-expanding compressed files, when SIMPLE and ELECSIM are downloaded. To find out the names of these files and how to expand and use them, drop the Help menu, choose "Simple Help" and use the search utility to locate the term "source code."
