Tour Description:
Walking distance from the hotel. We will depart from the hotel at 9:00 A.M. for the Tour of thermal storage plant and will return from the Unicom Thermal Plant at approximately 11:45 A.M. to arrive at the hotel at approximately 12:00 noon.
Visit one of the world’s largest thermal storage facilities, just blocks from the hotel. See the large ice-making machines that make ice during the night so that Chicago’s downtown office buildings can have comfortable air conditioning during hot summer days.

Tour Description:
The bus will depart from the hotel at 9:00 a.m. for S&C and will return from S&C at approximately 11:30 a.m. to arrive at the hotel approximately 12:00 Noon.
The tour will have a Demonstration of Medium Voltage Power Quality Equipment including a two Megawatt UPS system and a 250 Kilowatt, 480 volt UPS system. This will be followed by a 30-minute tour of the manufacturing facility.

Tour Description:
Walking distance from the hotel. We will depart from the hotel at 7:45 A.M. for a Fall Fashion presentation and a private shopping trip at Nordstrom. We will depart from Nordstrom at 10:45 A.M. and arrive back at the hotel at 11:00 A.M. Those who wish to continue shopping may do so, and return to the hotel at their leisure.
Come and visit the NEW Nordstrom Store in Chicago, just a short distance from your hotel. Start with a presentation from Nordstrom’s experienced staff, while you’re learning about the latest in fall fashion trends and enjoying a Continental breakfast. After the 30-45 minute presentation, you’ll be free to do some BEFORE-HOUR shopping at Nordstrom until the regular store opening at 10:00 A.M.

North Michigan Avenue – Chicago, Illinois
Tour Description:
The bus will depart from the hotel at 9:45 a.m. and arrives at the Art Institute at 10:00 a.m. for a two hour guided tour. The bus departs from the Art Institute at 12:00 noon and arrives back at the hotel at 12:15 p.m. Those who wish to continue their tour on their own, or shop at the museum’s gift shop may do so, and return to the hotel at their leisure.
The guided tour, for up to 50 people, will last approximately two hours. The tour will highlight the permanent collection with an emphasis on the museum’s extensive holdings of works by the impressionist masters.

TIME : 9:30 A.M. – 12:00 NOON
LOCATION : Tour of The Goodman Theatre
Lake Street at Dearborn – Chicago, Illinois
Tour Description:
Walking distance from the hotel. We will depart from the hotel at 9:30 a.m. for the tour of the Goodman Theatre and will return from the Goodman Theatre at 11:30 a.m. to arrive at the hotel at approximately 12:00 noon.
This will be a guided tour for up to 50 people. This will cover the two theatres, backstage and audience areas.
The tour begins at 10:00 a.m. and will end at approximately 11:00 a.m.
