For pioneering contributions to the theory of charged particle beams with intense self fields, including fundamental studies of nonlinear dynamics and collective processes.



Dr. Davidson is a Professor of Astrophysical Sciences at Princeton University.
Roser.jpg (46376 bytes)Thomas Roser, Brookhaven National Laboratory, For pioneering scientific work and introduction of new technology in the acceleration, storage and collision of polarized protons in the high energy collider RHIC.



Dr. Roser is Associate Chair for Accelerators and Accelerator Division Head at the Collider-Accelerator Department of Brookhaven National Laboratory.
