To ICC Members and Guests,
On behalf of the ICC Officers and
Administrative Committee, we would like to invite you to attend our Fall
2007 meeting in Scottsdale, Arizona.
The ICC is a committee of the
Power Engineering Society of the IEEE. The basic work of the ICC is to
develop standards detailing the design, construction, application, training,
and test protocols for insulated conductors. The ICC web site details the
presently active Subcommittees, Working Groups, and Discussion Groups.
http://www.ewh.ieee.org/soc/pes/icc/
The ICC membership is made up of
equipment manufacturers, users and all support industries; cable accessory
devices, consultants, research labs, equipment testing companies and
installation contractors specializing in various cable application
scenarios.
Attending the meeting has value
and benefits for a complete understanding of the insulated conductor
industry. The personal contacts made are invaluable resources for ensuring
your projects are considering all state-of-the-art designs and methods. Our
long-term members are always available to answer questions regarding cable
design and application. In addition, you can earn Continuing Education
credits toward your professional license.
Please plan to attend our Fall
meeting and join our subcommittees and groups to learn and contribute
knowledge to this very important segment of the power engineering industry.
Best Regards,
Jim Fitzgerald-ICC Chair
