IEEE Power and Energy Society Phoenix Chapter Outstanding Engineer Award
Purpose:
Recognize outstanding contributions of a local engineer to the power engineering profession.
Process:
A Selection Committee of at least three individuals to review the nominations for the Outstanding Engineer and to make a selection will meet. This committee will be chaired by the current Chapter chair or his/her designee. Only one individual can be selected each year. Nominations will be open for submission from any IEEE member or from the Selection Committee.
This award will be given high visibility and status in the Chapter. PES Chapter will provide a plaque to present to the recipient. An example of a plaque is shown here.
The award will be presented at IEEE Phoenix Section Annual Banquet and presentation will be coordinated with the local media to ensure maximum exposure in the local community.
Criteria:
Nominees should be an IEEE and a PES Phoenix Chapter member. The following suggested guidelines are offered:

Be sure to include your name and email address, nominee's name, and a brief description of the nominee's contributions to the PES.
