2003 Committee
Dear Power Engineering Society members of the IEEE
Singapore Section,
Greetings from the newly-constituted Power Chapter Committee! The Committee
consists of 8 elected members and 5 co-opted members, and our mission is to
serve the power engineering community in Singapore. We welcome on board our new
committee member Mr Tan Teck Lee of PowerGrid Ltd. We intend to bring to our
members many technical talks, short courses, workshops and seminars on the most
topical issues, and also to supplement technical issues with some social
functions including the chapter annual dinner. If you have a suggestion for us,
please do not hesitate to contact us. Your suggestions could be invaluable to
the entire power engineering community at large !

Note: The committee for year 2003 was elected during the IEEE Singapore
Section 25th Annual General Meeting, held at The Traders Hotel,
Singapore on Tuesday 19th November 2002 6:30-10:00pm. Dr. Goel, Dr. Gupta, Dr. Haque, Dr. So, Dr. Srinivasan, Dr. Waikar,
Mr. Teh and Mr. Tan
were elected during the AGM. Dr. Shrestha, Dr. Chen, Mr. Butt, Mr. Seow
and Mr. Sim were later co-opted to the committee.
