Graduate Student Workshop 2008
The IEEE
Power & Energy Society together with IEEE Industry Applications/ Power
Electronics chapters is pleased to announce the first Graduate Student Workshop
on September 24th, 2008, at the Engineering Auditorium, National
University of Singapore. It will be
a one-day event including a panel session in the morning and
technical sessions for students in the afternoon. The guest speakers in the
morning will be invited from academia as well as industry.
The main
objective of this workshop is to create a forum for graduate students from NUS
and NTU working in the broad areas of Power systems and Power Electronics to
exchange the latest research findings and ideas. It will also provide a good
networking opportunity for students and faculty in universities, engineers and
researchers from local industry and research institutions in Singapore.
