How to get involved with the Switchgear Committee is the most commonly asked question. This page was developed to help answer that question and provide a resource for anyone new to the Committee. The steps below are not necessarily in order, but provide links to assist with the endeavor.
The Switchgear Committee uses a system that manages contact information, meeting attendance, group mailing, and registration for our meetings. The link on the left is the introduction webpage for AMS. It will explain how to enroll so you too will get all the Committee mailings. Enrollment is also required to register for our meetings.
The meeting webpages explain how to register. As the meeting approaches a schedule will be posted. Attendance at the meetings is not required for participation but the discussions are invaluable.
Once registered for the meeting, it is important to review the meeting booklet. The previous meeting booklet is available until the new meeting booklet if developed. The booklet lists all the working groups that are meeting and what they are discussing. The previous meeting minutes are also a great source of information.
