The intent for the personal data provided to the Switchgear Committee at the time of meeting registration is to assist members and guests in contacting each other and to communicate to the "outside world" who the Switchgear Committee members and guests are and what they do. This improves greatly the communication process, especially between the meetings, and provides the needed visibility for our work. This personal data, name, telephone number(s), address(es), and e-mail(s) is included in the Mailing List file as an Excel spreadsheet and posted on the Minutes Web Pages. However, if any members or guests of the Switchgear Committee do not wish to release their personal data we ask that they contact the current Switchgear Committee Secretary and request the specific data to be removed from the Mailing List. Also, at the time of the meeting registration, please inform the current Switchgear Committee secretary (see the main page for name and contact) that your data be removed. We respect your privacy and will remove your data from the Web Pages.
Starting
October 2007 we will be introducing a new on-line tool "Association
Management System" that will allow you to control your own data and
privacy level. This will eliminate the need for Mailing List files and
Excel spreadsheets.
