European Activities
(Europe Technical Committee, January 2009 Edition)
Goals

The goals of the Europe Technical Committee are to:

  • Ensure good communication between CSC and European organizations active in superconductivity, especially the European Society on Applied Superconductivity (ESAS) and its European Conference on Applied Superconductivity (EUCAS).
  • Promote superconductivity within the European IEEE community
  • Provide up-to-date information on European activities in superconductivity, especially for the non-European members of CSC
  • Assist CSC in the selection of CSC Distinguished Lecturers from Europe
  • Encourage educational endeavors in superconductivity within Europe.
