IMEM - CNR (Parma)

  • Main Activity: Study, synthesis and characterization of new superconductors materials. Conventional solid-state synthesis, high pressure (up to 25 GPa, hydrostatic pressure) and hydrothermal synthesis (bulk and single crystals).
    Re-BCO and oxides thin film deposition (reel-to-reel apparatus for long length coated conductor fabrication)
    Structural (x-ray and electron diffraction, SEM-EDAX), thermal (TG, DTA, DSC), electro-magnetic (transport, resistivity, magnetic susceptibility, Squid) characterization.
