Essential Characterisation Tools for the Study of MgB2 Superconductors

Abstract - We have developed a suite of characterisation tools that have proved invaluable in the ongoing studies of the physical properties of MgB2 superconductors. Here we highlight the use of combining the measurement of Hc2(T) by global magnetometry with measurement of point contact diffusivity, ac calorimetry and Hall probe imaging.
