This paper on “Conceptual Study of Superconducting Urban Area Power Systems” is a translated excerpt from a larger document in German entitled “Supraleitung in EVU-Netzen – Konzept für die effiziente Energieversorgung von Ballungsräumen” [Superconductivity in the Electrical Utility Grids (Networks) – A Concept for efficient Energy Supply in Congested (Metropolitan) Areas].  That document in the form of a booklet is published by VWEW Energy Publishers www.ew-online.de within their series of energy-related topics.
