| The IEEE ITS Society organizes an annual conference and also sponsors the Intelligent Vehicles Symposium. The first ITSS Conference was held in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1997. |

 2008 IEEE International Conference on Service Operations and Logistics, and Information (SOLI 08) will be held October 12-15, 2008 in Beijing, China The IEEE International Conference on Service Operations and Logistics, and Informatics (IEEE/SOLI'2008) will be held in Beijing on 12-15 October, 2008.The conference is hosted by Beijing Jiaotong University, sponsored by IEEE/ITSS, technically-sponsored by INFORMS/Service Science and financially-sponsored by NSFC and EKC.
