Exhibitor Information

Dear Potential IEEE Sensors 2002 Exhibitor:

The First Annual IEEE sensors conference and exhibition, IEEE SENSORS 2002, will take place June 11-14 2002, at the Hyatt Orlando Hotel in Kissimme, Florida. The conference aims to bring together scientists and engineers who work on sensor science and technology.

It is beneficial for you to reserve booths as soon as possible to ensure your participation at the conference. Booth reservations are done on a first-come first-served basis, however space for exhibits is limited to 70, 10 ft x 10 ft booths (~3 m x 3 m). See floor plan.

Exhibit space will be rented at $1,800 for each 10-foot-deep by 10-foot-wide booth (~3 m x 3 m).

Qualifications for Exhibiting

Sensor relevant organizations may exhibit at IEEE SENSORS 2002. However, the IEEE reserves the right to accept or reject any exhibitor.

Booth Materials provided by the Conference

The Conference will provide each booth with an 8-foot-high (~2.4 m) cloth background with 36-in-high (~0.9 m) side dividers and a 7 x 44 in. (~18cm x 112cm) two-line identification sign, including company name, city, state, and booth number.

Exhibitor Registration

Registration forms for badges permitting exhibitor personnel and guests complimentary access to the Exhibit Hall will be provided at least 60 days before the conference.

Exhibit Hours

Exhibit Hours will be as follows:

  • Tuesday, June 11, 2002 7:00 – 9:00 pm (Reception)

  • Wednesday, June 12, 2002 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

  • Thursday, June 13, 2002 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

  • Friday, June 14, 2002 9:00 am – 12:00 noon

Security

Security will be provided by the conference and hotel on a 24-hour basis: however, exhibitors are asked to ensure all exhibit materials against loss or damage. The IEEE, Hyatt Orlando, and their officers, employees, agents, and representatives will not assume or otherwise be responsible for any injury, loss, or damage to the exhibitor, the exhibitor’s officers, employees, agents or representatives or their property, however caused.

Service Contractor

All exhibitors will receive equipment and service order forms from GES Exposition Services at least 60 days prior to the Conference.

Freight Movement

All freight sent to GES will be placed in exhibit booths by 8:30 am on Tuesday, June 11, 2002. Exhibitors not using GES may deliver their own equipment directly to the loading dock after all the GES freight is delivered.

Installation/Dismantling

The exhibit area will be available for set-up at 8:30 am on Tuesday, June 11. All Exhibits must be ready for opening at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, June 11. Dismantling will begin promptly at noon on Friday, June 14.

Sponsorship Opportunities at IEEE Sensors 2002

Your company may desire to sponsor one of the refreshment breaks during the conference, or the reception being held on Tuesday, June 11 at 7:00 pm. Your company name, logo, and booth number will be clearly displayed at the exhibit entrance as well as, the sponsored event.
