Subject: IEEE Fall Tutorial

Dear Friends,

 

It is once again time for the IEEE Fall tutorial.  This year's tutorial will attempt to thoroughly cover the subject of "Cables"and will consist of four consecutive Tuesday nights starting on October 7th.  The four consecutive sessions will be held at the Orlando Utilities Commission Engineering building training room on Pershing Ave. in Orlando from 6:00 - 9:00 P.M.  The agenda is scheduled as follows:

 

October 7, 2003: Brugg will discuss "High Voltage Cable" 69kV and higher

 

October 14, 2003: Anixter will discuss "600 Volt Cable Products"

 

October 21, 2003: Alcoa will discuss "Fiber Optic Cable"

 

October 28, 2003: Okonite will discuss "Pipe Type Cable"

 

 

 

CEU's will be available for those who request them when they register.  The cost of this year's classes are a true bargain for four nights of training plus CEU's and the breakout of the costs are listed below.  If you are interested in attending this year's IEEE Tutorial please contact Daniel Slack by e-mail at DSlack@OUC.com or phone at (407) 384-4093 to register for this event.  More detailed information about the speakers and subject matter for each night will follow soon but please don't hesitate in calling Daniel to have your name put on our list of expected attendees.  There is much planning that still needs to be completed and we need an accurate head count to make the appropriate arrangements.  Hope to see you in October!
